The information disclosed by the client is held in strict confidence.   Digital files and electronic client data are kept in a secure password safe locations.  Paper files are held under lock and key.  If decided upon in session that I would discuss your information with another professional such as a family physician, I would require your written consent.  Exceptions to confidentiality include the client being suicidal, homicidal or if the client has knowledge of harm to another individual or vulnerable population such as children and/or the elderly.
